DizzyB (pronounced dizzybee) is a small size low cost board that is used to switch on and off up to two external devices. The board contains a Wi-Fi module that
allows it to connect via an external router to the internet. The user can hence remotely activate/deactivate any of the two external devices via his smartphone or
tablet over the internet. Typical use of the Dizzyb is for home/office automation to remotely switch a heater, boiler, air conditioner etc... . The Dizzyb
is small enough to fit in a domestic electric panel where the controlled appliances have their circuit breakers installed. The Dizzyb can also be concealed
in a false ceiling or garden to control lights or shutters. Once properly installed, the app. will let the user easy control and get push notifications from the Dizzyb. The user can control several
Dizzyb boards from the same app and several users can control the same Dizzyb board from several phones/tablets.
The DizzyB ecosystem consists of three parts:
1) The Dizzyb hardware board
2) The cloud-based server
3) The DizzyB application
While the Dizzyb hardware board physically controls the external appliance, it communicates to a cloud-based server via the home/office router. The App. sends
the commands to the cloud-based server that will direct them to the Dizzyb in turn. The cloud-based server also takes in charge sending push notifications to the user
whenever the Dizzyb switches on or off any appliance in a seamless and transparent mode to the end-user.
